In specialty shops you will find both cigarette injectors and cigarette tubes to fill. After the tubes have been filled with a cigarette injection machine (either manually or automatically), the cigarette thus obtained can hardly be distinguished from an industrially produced one. The price, however, differs significantly. We have a few practical tips for you that will make the switch from rolling to electric cigarette injectors very easy.
1) What do I need to make my cigarettes fully electrically by myself?
The first thing you need to do is get a cigarette injector and a box of filter tubes. Of course, the tobacco should not be missing either. In order to achieve the best possible result with an electric injector, you should opt for volume tobacco (expanded tobacco) or hybrid tobacco.
Volume tobacco is lighter and you will need less tobacco to make a cigarette. The tobacco strands are short and wide. The relative humidity is quite low. All of this makes volume tobacco the ideal choice for making your cigarettes with an electric cigarette injector.
The strands of hybrid tobacco are slightly longer and thinner. Since the relative humidity of hybrid tobacco is slightly higher than that of volume tobacco, this tobacco is the best option for use with electric tamping machines or rolling machines.
In fine-cut tobacco, the strands are the thinnest and longest. Fine-cut tobacco has the highest relative humidity of the three types of tobacco. Since this is already a bit too high for the electric injector, the fine-cut tobacco is particularly suitable for the classic hand-rolling of a cigarette.
2) Step by step to your first self injected cigarette
As soon as your electric cigarette injector has arrived, your filter tubes are ready and you have found your favourite tobacco, the cigarette making can begin. Will that be complicated? Not at all! There are only a few simple steps to follow to finally have your first perfectly stuffed cigarette in your hands:
Step 1: Fill the machine with tobacco
First, you have to fill the filling chamber or the collecting funnel with a small amount of tobacco. Do not use too much tobacco, or the cigarette could become too pressed and difficult to smoke. It could also tear your filter tube. But don't worry, after a few tries, getting the right amount of tobacco won't be a problem for you.
Step 2: Place the filter tube
If you have the right amount of tobacco in the filling chamber, you can still press down a little to bring the tobacco into good shape. Then you put the tube onto the metal nozzle. Make sure that the paper does not bend and that the tube fits well.
Step 3: The cigarette injection
If the cigarette tube sits well on the metal nozzle and your tobacco feeder is well filled, all you have to do is press the lever (or button). The machine does the rest automatically. In contrast to manual tubing machines, you don't have to hold the electric cigarette injector in your hand or keep the tube from sliding off the metal nozzle.
Now all you have to do is take the ready, perfectly finished cigarette from the nozzle, unless your automatic cigarette injection machine has already done it itself.
Your fresh, perfectly shaped cigarette tailor-made to your taste is now ready! You can smoke it right away or save it for later.
If your cigarettes are not perfect the first time, do not be discouraged, even with the simplest models, high quality results with optimal burning behaviour are possible in the shortest time.
You think the electric cigarette injection could also be something for you, but still have questions or are you unsure?
